I thought since I'm slowly working on a few pieces I might share some excerpts from them. They aren't amazing, but there's a lot of thought in each. There's not many, and some may never get finished so I put them in order of possibility of completion, high to low.

1. SULLY TURNER: Completed this one. Check out my submissions to view it!

2. CALLINA: This is my first attempt at pure romance, and possibly only. I don't like this genre but I do love to experiment with my writing.

“Tell me, what did you see in Aldenhurst?” She couldn’t wait for his response. She enjoyed hearing of all the things he had seen when he was traveling with the king’s army. Callina wasn’t able to travel herself, but always wanted to. Farran loved to indulge her curiosity when he could.
“Well, first off, it was a very large town. There were people wandering the streets in carriages…” He continued for some time, until the sun had fallen.

3. BOTCH: The name is to commemorate a legendary hardcore band, as is the story in part. I hope to make more stories that honor bands that are very influential to me. Not sure how it will go, but it's worth a try.

He exited the car and looked to the horizon. This was a bad time to run out of gas and he knew it. Storm clouds had gathered, forming a dark blanket in the sky that was closing in on him. It would be a bad one and he knew there was no chance of making it into town before it hit. He fumbled with his phone, cursing loudly with every failed call.

In edition to these new stories, I will also try to work on Shattered Bones more but no promises. However, I will be finishing Scrap Metal at some point. May be starting on that again next year. That's all for now.
